If you do a lot of knotting between your pearls, you may want to consider using this tool. It also can help if you are having trouble getting evenly spaced and shaped knots in your jewelry. The tool comes with instructions (within the card shown). You don't have to save it only for pearls, though. It can be used with any valuable beads where you want prevent beads scattering if the string breaks. Actually three tools in one. Use this tool to enlarge, de-burr, and round-out bead holes. Three different tips are included to fit bead holes from the smallest up to 5.0mm. The edging point rounds and smooths edges so the beads don't cut through cord or thread. Each tip is coated with diamond dust for smooth, even reaming even in "hard" materials. Tips store conveniently inside the tool and attach to the front for use. Handy spring clip enables you to carry tool in your pocket like a pen. Tips can be replaced so this tool will last you a lot of beading years. Current stock is a tool packaged by Beadsmith. These handy tweezers will always be near at hand while you are beading. Tips are slightly more rounded than the knotting tweezers below and have a serrated inner surface, making them ideal for gripping or assisting when you need to untie a knot. The small shovel at the other end is handy for scooping beads from a flat surface or out of containers. Tweezers are about 7 inches long, overall; shovel end is just under an inch wide. The Bead Design Board is ideal for laying out necklaces or other stringing projects before you string them. Works for projects up to 34" in length. Has 3 channels to assist in designing multi-strand jewelry. Design boards are flocked to help prevent beads from rolling in the channels. Channels are marked with lines and measurements to help you get the right length and find the center of your piece.
