Polyester Cord & Hemp Cord for Beading & Jewelry Making
Some of our cord products are sold by the yard (about 0.91 meters). Please insert the number of yards desired in the 'Quantity' field. Cord will be sent to you packaged in a neat coil - in a single continuous length. We also carry a limited selection of pre-carded cord selections. See individual entries for exact quantity and color of items available on cards.
We do not accept returns of cut products. Please make your selections carefully! If you are not sure of what product you need, order 1 yard and test it before ordering a large quantity! We do accept returns of full spools, hanks and pre-carded cord if they have not been cut.
Upon updating the website, we separated some items that were previously categorized together.
If you were looking for Thread or
Stretchable Bead Cord,
they are located on their own pages.
Hemp cord is a natural product that is perfect for beading. The cord is very smooth - unlike many "scratchy" hemp cords on the market. This card includes 4 neutral colors: black, dark brown, variegated (multi-tone) and natural.
At 0.8mm, this cord is thin enough to string through many of your favorite Czech Glass beads, larger gemstone beads, most India Glass beads, and many of your favorite precious metal beads! Click through to see all the details and available colors.
Same as the Thin Polyester 0.8mm cord above. These are bulk spools for bigger projects! 1 Spool contains 125 yards (about 114 meters). See menu for available colors.
Make a bracelet like this one using the cord above.
It's a great way to clear out odds & ends in your bead box, plus the only tool you need is a
pair of scissors! We used beads from the
India Silver Bead page, the Large Seed Bead page (use 6/0 or larger seed beads), and many
of our India Glass Bead pages. The faceted beads come from the Czech Faceted Bead page
(faceted tubes) and from the Czech "Sophisticated Lady" Mix page. We also used a 10mm Gemstone Round Bead
(most 10mm will work on this cord, most smaller gemstone beads will not). You'll also recognize
some 8mm Czech Round beads from the Czech Rounds (Druks) page. Knotting techniques used for this
project can be found at Using Cord in Jewelry Making Projects - Tips & Techniques.
