Greek Leather & Waxed Cotton Cords
We offer these cords for your beading and jewelry making projects.

Cord products are sold by the yard (about 0.91 meters). Please insert the number of yards desired in the 'Quantity' field, then click on 'Add to Cart' to register the correct number of yards in the cart. Cord will be sent to you packaged in a neat coil - in a single continuous length (see the note under Greek Leather for exceptions on this natural product).

We do not accept returns of cut products. Please make your selections carefully! If you are not sure of what product you need, order 1 yard and test it before ordering a large quantity! We do accept returns of full spools or hanks (since they are not cut).

Waxed Cotton Cord, Japanese, Black, 1 Hank
Item #: CRD-WCJBK-H
Availability:

Beading Tip - Finishing Leather Cord
Because leather cord is relatively thick compared to threads, the options for finishing it are somewhat different. You can tie knots in the leather as part of your design, and sliding knots can be used to form adjustable length jewelry. For designs where you desire a clasp instead of knots, there are several other options for finishing leather. We sell extra large sterling silver crimps that can be used to crimp leather just as you would any other stringing material. You can also use special leather crimps that have a loop at the end that can be fastened to any clasp using a split ring. Another interesting way to finish leather cord is by threading it through a clasp or loop and wrapping the doubled-over end tightly with wire, using the wire to "crimp" it together.
