These fully faceted beads are cut in a Marquise shape from some of the biggest pieces of Iolite that we we've seen for a long time. The color is also the excellent blue-violet to blue-grey that is so sought after in this gemstone. While much of this stock is fairly clear, the size of the pieces make it easy to see that Iolite often has internal 'lines' in the crystal structure. It is possible that the drilled hole that goes across the tip of the bead may not be exactly level - please account for this possibility in your design. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.
