Beadalon 7 is a fine diameter, 7 strand, stainless steel wire. It has a smooth, kink resistant nylon coating. It may be tied (knotted or used with bead tips such as clamshells) or can be fastened with crimps. Beadalon 7 is a good, general purpose stringing material.
This group of stranded wire is the "Standard Colors" line from Beadalon. Standard colors include Bronze, Black and "Bright" (Beadalon's term for the silvery stainless steel color of the underlying wires - the nylon coating is clear). Note that the "Bronze" color coordinates nicely with designs using Copper Beads, especially "Antique" finish items.
This stringing material is 0.015 inches in diameter (0.38mm). It has a break strength of 15 lb (7kg). Spools contain 30 feet (9.2 meters) of stringing material.
