This book, by Nicole Noelle Sherman, describes a variety of "high style" designer jewelry focusing on freshwater pearls. A number of the designs use faceted semi-precious gemstone to highlight the pearls. One large section of the book is devoted to custom wedding jewelry for the entire bridal party. Sherman makes good use of the contemporary pearl shapes such as round and shaped coin pearls, stick pearls, keishe pearls and teardrop pearls. A section on basic jewelry construction techniques is provided; projects run from simple to average difficulty. Project instructions are detailed and good illustrations are provided. Design styles range from "classic" to "bohemian". 8.5x11", soft cover, full color, 128 pages.
