Smoky Quartz can vary from quite light to very smoky dark brown. Our round beads tend to be on the darker end of the spectrum — but they are still transparent, as quartz should be. They are well cut and drilled and have polished drill holes. Some Smoky Quartz is heat-treated or irridated to enhance color — ours may be (there is no way to tell from appearance).
