This group of faceted teardrop beads have been formed from nice big pieces of Apatite - a gemstone where the stock is typically very small. Much of this stock is fairly clear (for Apatite), but you will see some internal 'lines' in the crystal structure. It is possible that the drilled hole that goes across the tip of the bead may not be exactly level - please account for this possibility in your design. The hole size is fairly small (they were strung on 0.2mm material when we received them). Drops are between 5.5 to 7.5mm in height and are about 5mm wide. Sold individually.

Occasionally, we find some White Moonstone beads that demonstrate how this gemstone got it's name. These 3mm round beads show the translucent & lustrous inner sheen that reminds you of the moon's glow. Actual bead sizes are very close to 3.2mm. Sold on strands that are 15 inches long.

Availability:

20mm Round Donut beads are made from bleached White Mother of Pearl. Because they are side drilled (along the long flat dimension) you have all kinds of possibilities for innovative jewelry, such as the earring sample shown. Made from a natural shell product - you may see a bit of the shell surface texture in your donut. Also, even though they are bleached white, it is possible to see some of the natural shell color in some of the pieces. Hole openings measure about 10mm in diameter and sometimes are slightly off center, as you can see in the picture. Sold individually.

4mm fully faceted round beads are made from natural Amethyst in a medium purple tone. These are nicely machine cut and faceted; holes are drilled on center. Strands are 15.5 to 16" inches long.

These dark Blue Sapphire bead strands have terrific sparkle. The beads are nicely faceted and are very uniform in size and shape for hand cut stones. Beads are arranged in a slightly size graduated manner. Beads in the center of the strand are about 3.5mm in diameter, slowly tapering to beads that are about 3mm on each end of the strand. Strung on stranded metal wire with a blue nylon coating - with about 3 inches of extra wire on each end - so there is no need to re-string them unless you want to. Strands are 16 inch long.

Stunning pear-shaped Ruby Briolette drops - in a larger size than usual! While the ruby material is fairly opaque, you'll see areas in the drops with a bit more clarity, giving good depth. Sizing in this group doesn't vary much, so all are being sold in the same size category. Drops will be between 8mm to 10mm in both height and width. Weight of each drop is between 3.5 to 4.5 carats. Hole will accommodate 0.3mm stringing material; hole openings may have a somewhat notched appearance. Sold individually.

These 7mm rondelles are formed from Chinese Turquoise with good blue color tones and a fairly light level of matrix. Beads have a somewhat narrow profile varying from about 1.5mm to 3.5mm wide. This Carnelian Agate from India has a bright orange color tone and good clarity. You will see a few spots of darker color, as the picture shows, but most of the the beads are fairly clear. These beads are very nice for hand crafted stock - you'll only see a few that are slightly off round or drilled off center. Actual diameters range from about 3.5mm to 4mm, but are very uniform in size on individual strands. Sold on 13.5 to 14 inch strands.

These ultra small nugget pearl are a lovely shade of Lilac. They very uniform in size - the un-drilled dimension of the pearls is about 3.5mm, and the widths (drilled dimension) are only 3mm. Almost all pearls will have one flat side. Hole sizes are very small: they are temporarily strung on 2 threads that measure 0.1mm each. Sold by the strand - 16 inches or slightly longer.
