These flat coin shaped beads show a moderate amount of 'blue flash'. You'll sometimes also see some flecks of black inclusions that are typical of Rainbow Moonstone. Beads vary from 4mm to 8mm in diameter, but are relatively the same size on an individual strand. Sold on 14 to 14.5" strands.

Rainbow Moonstone Ovals These smooth ovals show moderate 'blue flash' and have a nice white to slightly clear base color (with almost no tiny black inclusions that are often found in this gemstone). Beads are about 7-10mm long and 5-7mm wide. Strands are usually 14-14.5".

Multi-Moonstone Rectangle Beads. Lengths range from about 4-8mm, about 4mm wide, 3mm deep, all three moonstone colors (creamy white, peach and a few grey) on each strand. Strands are usually 13.5-14.5".

Nice looking Moonstone Oval beads are strung with three colors of beads on each strand: White Moonstone, Peach Moonstone and Grey Moonstone. Beads vary between 7x6mm and 12x7mm. Sold on 14.5" strands.

Full-round, smooth teardrop shapes are formed from Rainbow Moonstone, then are drilled across the top (or sometime, the middle). Lots of beads on a strand, due to the direction that the beads are drilled. Beads vary in size from about 6x4mm to 11x5mm, but tend to be somewhat similar in size on individual strands, as you can see from the picture. Sold on 14 to 14.5" strands.
