Secure and easy to use snap closure is hidden in the back to keep the bail closed. The finding also has a smoothly operating hinge at the base, so it can be opened and closed repeatedly. To use this finding with strung beads or pearls, the beads must be smaller than the inside opening of the bail (3.2mm)
-or- the beads need to have small spacers or knots in between to allow the bail to slip over the strand. In the case of the cord shown in the picture, it is about 3.6mm in diameter, but it can be easily used with this bail, since it is braided from soft materials.
