Twisted Gold Filled Crimps are a popular tube-style that have a twisted pattern that increases holding power. Crimp by flattening with a needle nosed plier (no specialized crimping pliers required). Picture is enlarged to show twisted pattern detail. Inner diameter is about 1.1mm, nominally labeled a 2x2mm crimp (actual measurements are about 1.8mm). Sold in packages of 50 Crimps.

Beads are all gold filled - but the karat rating is unknown (by definition, GF findings are at least 10kt, but these crimps are likely to be 12kt or 14kt based on the supplier). Package size is 0.05 ounce. One package contains between 95 and 115 crimps, depending on the size mix (picture shows the contents of a typical package).

Beading Tip - Use Split Rings in Place of Closed Rings
Split rings are typically used to connect two closed loops, such as a charm to a chain. But another use for split rings can be as the ring for a clasp. For example, if you are using a bead tip with a closed loop to finish a necklace and plan to use a lobster clasp for the closure, you can attach a split ring to the other bead tip and use the split ring as the loop for the lobster clasp.
