Side-to-side sterling silver pinch bails can be used with pendants that are drilled across the pendant (side-to-side). The picture shows this bail from several angles, including from underneath (lower right). Pins on each side are 0.9mm in diameter and about 3mm long. Heavy duty construction - gluing is not required, but may be desired for extra security. Overall size is 12x11mm; closed ring on top of the bail is 4.5mm on the outside and 2.7mm on the inside. Sold individually.
The teardrop pendant shown in the picture has a drill hole that is 5mm below the top of the drop. The finding can be pinched from side to side to secure the bead and from front to back to conform to the shape of a range of focal beads tops, including some Leaded Crystal products.
Fancy Sterling Silver Pinch Bail can be used with pendants that are drilled from front-to-back. Filigree cutouts keep bail lightweight while still being very sturdy.
