Talk about a 'Wow factor'! These are Tourmaline Micro-Faceted Rondelles. They have more sparkle than the regular faceted rondelles - because there are so many more facets per bead. In addition, there are two sections in the front of (rare!) blue toned beads that really add some pizazz! The rest of the strands consist of sections that are more traditional Tourmaline colors: greens, lighter pinks, olive greens and short sections of pale and black beads at the very ends. The beads are 3.1-3.3mm in diameter on 14-14.5 inch strands.

Availability:

Multi-color Tourmaline looks great in this popular "Russian faceted" cut; you may also hear this style called "cube faceted" or "Princess cut". The beads are rectangular, with the hand-cut facets on all of the corners of the bead. Beads are 4-7mm long and about 4x2.5 wide on 15-15.5 inch strands.

"Nothin' but pink and green" faceted Tourmaline rondelles - these strands give you more desirable color than most! Actually there are about 1/2" of black beads on each end of the strand, but the rest is colorful. These are all hand cut beads so there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. Beads are sized at 3 to 3.3mm diameter in strands ranging from 14.5 to 15" in length.

The nicest feature of this group of Tourmaline faceted rondelles are the deep & rich colors that are found in each color section. Whether you are looking at the pink sections, the bluish green sections or the medium green sections, all the colors are strongly stated. These are all hand cut beads which means there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. These are sized at 3.3 to 3.9mm diameter (very uniform sizes on each individual strand). Strung on strands approximately 15" in length.

These Tourmaline faceted rondelles have a nice range of colors - you will find several pink or green sections alternating through most of each strand. We've arranged the strands so that you can see several of the center color sections. The outer two inches at each end of the strands will consist of black and darker or pale color Tourmaline. These are all hand cut beads which means there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. These are sized at 4mm to 4.3mm diameter in strands approximately 15" in length.

These Tourmaline faceted rondelles have a nice range of colors - you will find lots of pink sections throughout each strand. In the strands towards the left you can see beads closer to the end of the strands - a few olive and yellow beads will found on most strands. These smooth buttons are made from very good quality material and are extremely uniform in size and shape. You'll find either pink or green stones through most of the strand with about an inch of black beads on each end of the strand. Beads are sized at 3.4 to 3.6mm diameter in strands ranging from 15.5 to 16" in length.

This is NOT stellar quality Tourmaline, but the price is right and the faceted drops are some of the biggest that we ever see available in this gemstone. Colors are darker and more murky and the beads are less transparent than most Tourmaline we carry. Colors include pinks & greens, but also feature yellows, olive greens, and peachy tones. Beads are nicely shaped and faceted, but you will occasionally see inconsistencies in the crystal structure that can affect the surface smoothness. It is also possible to find a chipped spot or notched drill holes in this group. Teardrop vary in size from 12x9mm to 17x12mm, are top drilled, and you get 11 teardrops on a strand.

Availability:

Tourmaline strung in colored coordinated sections with lots of pink and green beads make up about 12 inches of these strands. Clarity is good and the beads are well formed and drilled. Bead diameters are close to 3mm in diameter throughout. The outer ends of the strands have black or other dark colored beads for a total strand length of 14 to 14.5 inches.

All pink tourmaline - at a nice price! These bead have fairly good clarity, too, so the pink tones show up nicely. Beads are darker pink in the center, then slowly fade to lighter pinks on the ends. These are all hand cut beads which means there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. The beads are rectangularly shaped and measure about 2.5 to 4mm long. Widths are approximately 3x1.5mm on strands that are about 15" in length.

Availability:

Multi-colored Toumaline has been cut into small smooth oval shaped beads. Most beads are about 5 to 6mm long, but the range you will see is 4.5 to 9mm (note the two very long ovals on the right side of the picture). Widths are very consistent at 4 to 4.5mm. Beads are fairly thin, so you will see a few that are broken at the drilled hole. Clarity is average to a bit cloudy. Beads are strung in sections of pinks and green in the center 11 to 12 inches of the strand, with the outer beads being pale or black. Beads come on 13.5 to 14.5 inch strands.
