Sunstone is a naturally occurring gemstone found in India, among other places. Don't confuse this with man-made Goldstone! It's unique feature is a deep golden-orange sparkle that comes from the depths of the stone. Most drops are pear shaped (height and width measurements are nearly the same). Typical of natural Sunstone, these drops have occasional tiny black inclusions and/or internal fracture 'lines'. These are hand cut and faceted drops, so expect the typical irregularities, including drill holes that are not quite level across the stone and slightly asymettrical shapes. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Remaining drops have been discounted for condition: any or all of the following may occur: holes are slightly chipped near drilled holes, very slight chips or nicks on faceted edge of pendant or the upper tip, inclusions or cloudiness, asymettrical shapes, 'lines' within the drop where the crystal direction or color changes (may be rough at surface of pendant), black/brown inclusions. NO MATCHING DROPS REMAIN.
