These Peridot Faceted Ovals have good uniform color and nice clarity. You will occasionally see beads that have the tiny black specks (inclusions) that are typical of Peridot. Beads range from about 5.5-8mm long but most tend to be about 6.5mm; bead widths are between 4.5 to 5mm. Strung on a 14" Strand.

If you're looking for some pear-shaped Peridot Briolettes, here they are! Sizing in this group is very close to 5x5mm - so all are being sold in the same size category. Fully faceted drops are very nice uniform Peridot green tones with very good clarity. Holes are small, but will accomodate 0.3mm stringing material.

Availability:

Nice big pieces of Peridot - these fully faceted beads are cut in a Marquise shape. While much of this stock is fairly clear (for Peridot), the size of the pieces make it easy to see that Peridot often has internal 'lines' in the crystal structure and occasional tiny black inclusions. It is possible that the drilled hole that goes across the tip of the bead may not be exactly level - please account for this possibility in your design. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Remaining stock has been discounted for condition, one or more of the following may occur: obvious black inclusions or cloudy spots within the gemstone, 'lines' where crystal formation changes is obvious or can be felt on the surface of the bead. Sizes range from 9.5-12mm long, carat weights between 2.2 to 3.5 carats. Original price was $4.25 to 6.75.

Lots of sparkle at a more reasonable price than faceted stones. Current stock of these Peridot Smooth Button beads is a fairly large 4.5-5.5mm diameter, strung on 14-14.5" strands. Color is rather uniform and fairly transparent in this stock.

All the beads in this selection will be teardrop shaped: taller than they are wide. Some may have clear 'lines' in the crystal or very tiny inclusions, both being very typical of Peridot (examples of both can be seen in the picture, above).

These beads have nice uniform Peridot color. The clarity is fairly good, resulting in a nice sparkle. You will find occasional inclusions in some bead (primarily yellow and brown). Beads are hand-cut, so you will see irregularity in shape and size. Beads measure 4-7mm long, and about 2x3mm wide. They come on 14-14.5" strands.
