We've learned that almost all Yellow Jade used for the bead market is dyed. This does not mean, however, that all yellow jade beads on the market are "created equal". Our Yellow Jade has a nice consistent color within each strand, few to no dye marks, and does not bleed dye. Prolonged exposure to sunlight or long term wear may eventually cause lighten of the color. Beads are translucent to semi-opaque.
