We often have unique and interesting gemstones that we select for focal components that we don't have enough selections to get their own page on our 'Beads by Gemstone' pages. Often, we can only get the gemstone & shape combination once, then they are gone forever. On the other hand, choices here change often, so if you use unique focal gemstones in your designs, you'll want to bookmark this page.
Here at Beaded Impressions, we call this our 'Ite' page - many of the gemstones you might find here end in the three letters 'ite': Charoite, Kyanite, Lepidolite, Lepidocrosite, Tektite, Muscovite, Seriphinite, and so on. We hope you like the variety as much as we do - enjoy!
Interesting Tektite Freeform beads have glossy & pebbly front surfaces. Tektites are pieces of glass that are formed when a large meteorite impacts with the Earth's surface.
It is rare when we find Kyanite beads of this top notch quality! They are an excellent shimmering blue color with very few of the fractures common to Kyanite.
Pale blue green African Opal is enhanced with beautiful veining of tan and reddish brown. These focal beads look great suspended point up or point down, as shown.
