Beautiful color and clarity can be found in this group of 5mm Amethyst Smooth Button Beads. Sometimes also called Smooth Rondelles or roundels, the diameters of these bead are 5mm with very uniform bead shapes. Sold on 15.5 inch long strands.

These faceted Amethyst Teadrop shapes are the latest thing out of the high-end gem factories in India and we've been told that they are going to be the "big thing" at the Tucson Bead shows next February. We got a sample of them early, though, and you'll want to get them too! Drops are expertly shaped and fully faceted on all the exterior surfaces. The only hole is the big teardrop shaped one in the center, so these actually are considered a donut bead. Drops range in size from 11x7.5mm to 15x10mm. Be sure to tell us in "Comments" when you check out if we should match a set for earrings or whether you need slightly graduated sizes for a necklace. Sold individually.

Availability:

The Amethyst gemstone in this group of faceted teardrop beads is especially nice. The color is uniform and brillantly purple and the clarity is excellent. Drops are also nicely shaped and faceted. Note that the drilled holes in these drops are very close to the top of the bead and are fairly small (they were strung on 0.2mm material when we received them). Sold individually and priced by the carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Availability:

Fully faceted briolette or "pear" shapes are cut from Amethyst is a light shade of purple. These drops have very good to excellent clarity. Sizing in this group is fairly uniform so all are being sold in the same size category. Each bead will be between 7.5-9.5mm in both height and width. Holes are small, but will accommodate 0.25mm stringing material. Sold individually.

These larger Gemstone Tab pendants are made from a light colored form of Amethyst that we describe as "Crystal Amethyst". Each pendant is drilled and fitted with a silver-plated pin and a small silver-plated snap bail is supplied. Each pendant measures about 25x15mm (not counting the pin and bail). Sold individually.

Actual Diameters vary from 2.1 to 2.4mm but will be very uniform on an individual strand. Color is a light purple color that is slightly lighter than the picture shows. You may see a few beads on the strand that are not drilled exactly on center. Sold on 16" strands.
