This antique silver plated hook & eye is great for quickly finishing a beaded design. It has a direct crimp connection on both the hook and eye allowing it to directly connect to stringing material without the need for any other findings. Crimping areas have 0.7mm inner diameter (ID) opening. In inches, that measurement is close to 0.025. While the crimping area makes a sturdy connection to harder materials like stranded wire (Beadalon & similar brands), we recommend that you knot above the hole & put a dab of glue in the hole before crimping when using with softer materials like nylon thread or braided stringing material.
