Large Seed Beads - 1/0, 6/0

These are the larger Czech seed beads we carry. All beads are size 1/0 or 6/0 and come in single strands that are between 18 to 20 inches long (a bit longer than the 'standard' 16" strand). These are considered "seed beads" because of the shape and cut. They are all Czech glass beads.

6/0 seed beads are larger than 11/0 seed beads - they are about 4.0-4.2mm wide. They come about 9 beads to the inch (4 beads per cm) - so expect about 180 beads per strand. Sometimes, this size of bead is also referred to as an 'E Bead'. 6/0 seedbeads are the perfect size for use with memory wire. Six year old children can easily make their own bracelets and love making patterns with the different colored beads. Hole sizes in 6/0 seed beads tend to be about 1.2-1.4mm; the holes are usually square, rather than round.

1/0 seed beads are the one of the largest seed beads made - they are about 6.5mm wide; they come about 5-6 beads per inch (2 per cm) - so expect 100-120 beads per strand. Hole sizes in 1/0 seed beads tend to be about 1.7-2mm; the holes are usually square, rather than round.
