These Glass Spear Beads are all made in the Czech Republic and are considered "pressed glass" beads because of the manufacturing method. Many people also refer to this pressed bead shape as a "dagger" bead.
Beads in this group are about 10 to 11mm long and 3mm wide (they are rather small beads!). They are drilled through the top point, as shown. While most bags will contain 50 beads, occasionally there will be as few as 48 beads or as many as 51 beads (counting is done by a machine at the factory). The larger spear beads near the bottom of the page measure either 5x12mm or 5x16mm (marked accordingly).
