Extra large white nugget pearls have very good luster and opalescent highlights. Sizes range 8.5-10mm and pearls average about 8mm wide on the drilled dimension. Most pearls have the one flattened side that is typical of nugget pearls and the luster can be flatter on that side, as well. You may also occasionally see an oddly shaped pearl. Sold by the 15 inch long strand.
