Mother of Pearl is a shell product, but often is used as a gemstone bead. This is the bleached version, so it is a lovely, pearly white to cream color. It has a translucent look, with occasional areas that are more opaque.
10mm Mother of Pearl Round Beads. Due to the very large size of these shell beads, it is possible to find an occasional flat spot on a bead. Creamy white color is achieved via bleaching natural (tan colored) Mother of Pearl. Sold on 15.5 to 16 inch long (39 to 40cm) strands.
