Smooth oval beads are formed from a red to orange agate that is variously called Fire Agate, Fire Crackled or Crab Fire Agate in the bead industry. These oval beads have excellent white to orange surface markings, as you can see from the picture. Beads are about 17mm long and are 13mm wide. Although not much reliable data is available about this stone, it is likely that the beads are heat treated and/or otherwise enhanced. Strands are about 15 inches in length.

These smooth oval beads are made from Red Jasper with a bit of Poppy Jasper or Brecciated Jasper material. Both the bit of darker color and surface irregularities create a lot of texture in these beads, as you can see from the picture. Expect to get a few smoothly polished and many pitted or incised beads on each strand. Beads are about 13mm long and are 8.5mm wide. Strands are about 15.5 inches in length.

Beautiful Chinese Turquoise oval beads have both great color and great fabrication. The color is a vivid turquoise blue with barely any matrix, as shown by the picture. All beads are well polished, nicely shaped and have very glossy surfaces. Beads measure about 9x6mm. Stabilized turquoise, strung on 15.5 to 16" strands.

Petite rectangle beads are especially nice because of the highly polished surfaces and all edges are smoothly rounded. The Chinese Turquoise material has lots of blue color and well mixed matrix colors for depth. Beads are about 5.5mm long and 4mm wide. Strung on 15.5-16" strands.

All pink tourmaline - at a nice price! These bead have fairly good clarity, too, so the pink tones show up nicely. Beads are darker pink in the center, then slowly fade to lighter pinks on the ends. These are all hand cut beads which means there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. The beads are rectangularly shaped and measure about 2.5 to 4mm long. Widths are approximately 3x1.5mm on strands that are about 15" in length.

Here is an unusual choice of gemstone! This rarely available chalcedony gets its vivid yellow color from heat treating (not dye). The gemstone is fairly transparent, too. Beads are between 7 and 11mm long and the side measurement are about 6mm. Strung on 15" strands.

Blue Chalcedony pillow rectangle beads are strung so that the beads with the most blue color are in the center of the strand and slightly paler blues are strung at the ends. Beads get their color from heat treating (not dye).
