Nice looking larger oval beads are made from Lapis Lazuli in a lighter Denim color. Beads are smoothly polished and uniformly shaped. Oval beads measure about 14mm long and 10mm wide. Strands are 15 to 15.5 inches in length.

Beautiful Chinese Turquoise oval beads have both great color and great fabrication. The color is a vivid turquoise blue with barely any matrix, as shown by the picture. All beads are well polished, nicely shaped and have very glossy surfaces. Beads measure about 9x6mm. Stabilized turquoise, strung on 15.5 to 16" strands.

Handmade smooth oval beads are formed from very white/clear gemstone with a nice level of blue "flash". The beads are flat ovals, meaning that from the side, they have a rectangular appearance, as you can see from the picture. Beads can range from 5-7mm long and are 3-5mm wide. Beads tend to be similar in size on individual strands. Strands are about 14 to 14.5 inches in length.

Full-round, smooth teardrop shapes are made from Labradorite and are drilled across the top (or sometime, the middle). Lots of beads on a 14 inch strand, due to the direction that the beads are drilled. This group of beads has nice color and a good level of blue "flash". Drops are about 5-10mm long x 2.5-5mm wide at base of teardrop. Sold on 14" strands.

All pink tourmaline - at a nice price! These bead have fairly good clarity, too, so the pink tones show up nicely. Beads are darker pink in the center, then slowly fade to lighter pinks on the ends. These are all hand cut beads which means there will be some irregularity in the cut and the size of the beads. The beads are rectangularly shaped and measure about 2.5 to 4mm long. Widths are approximately 3x1.5mm on strands that are about 15" in length.

These Denim Lapis Lazuli rectangle shaped beads have some very nice blue color and occasional bits of pyrite for sparkle. Also note that most beads have some white to grey inclusions. Beads measure about 6x3.8x3.8mm. Strung on 16" strands.

Here is an unusual choice of gemstone! This rarely available chalcedony gets its vivid yellow color from heat treating (not dye). The gemstone is fairly transparent, too. Beads are between 7 and 11mm long and the side measurement are about 6mm. Strung on 15" strands.

Turquoise colored smooth pillow rectangle beads are made from a stabilized, man-made synthetic turquoise product. They have a shiny polish with natural looking brown veining. Beads are about 19mm long, 15mm wide, 8.5mm thick. Sold on 16" strands.

Notice from the picture that most beads are well formed but you will occasionally see a bead that is broken at the hole (upper left of picture) or drilled off-center. Some people also call these disc bead - drilled across the longest flat dimension. Beads can range from 3.5-5.5mm long (most tend to be about 4.5mm). Note from the picture that size tends to be uniform on individual strands. Also note that a few beads are oddly shaped, cracked or mis-drilled. Strands are about 14 inches in length.

These oval-shaped barrels have great turquoise color tones with just a bit of matrix. Note from the picture that some strands are more blue tone and others are more blue-green.
