Rectangle or square beads make a great focal look whether strung in line with other smaller beads or when dangled from a headpin to create a pendant. When described as a 'pillow' this refers to a rectangle that has had all of the edges and corners rounded and sloped to create a softer appearance. Also part of this group may be barrel shapes, oval shapes, spiral cuts, freeform shapes, heart shapes, diamond shapes or any other smooth cabochon style cut. Focal beads on this page will typically measure 18mm or less on the longest dimension.

Spiral pattern appears only on one side; beads on the pin show typical back side colors. Please see detailed description for a note about possible hairline fractures in the shell material.
