Rectangle or square beads make a great focal "look" whether strung in line with other smaller beads or when dangled from a headpin to create a pendant. When described as a "pillow" this refers to a rectangle that has had all of the edges and corners rounded and sloped to create a softer appearance. Also part of this group may be barrel shapes, oval shapes, heart shapes, diamond shapes or any other smooth cabochon style cut.
