Interesting Tektite Freeform beads have glossy & pebbly front surfaces. Tektites are pieces of glass that are formed when a large meteorite impacts with the Earth's surface. The sides and backs of the beads are smoothly polished and are also very glossy. Beads are roughly oval to teardrop shaped and are drilled on the longest direction of the bead as shown by the pin in the picture. If you look at the top of the bead with the pin in it, you can see that Tektites can be somewhat translucent where the material is thin enough. Sizes are variable with a range of 17mm to 27mm on the longer dimension and 12mm to 18mm wide. Sold individually.
