These Prehnite beads are cut into a fully faceted briolette or "pear" shape. Note from the picture that they have tiny flecks and needle shaped inclusions of black that are common in this gemstone. Citrine beads are cut into a fully faceted briolette or "pear" shape. Clarity is very good and color tones vary from light to stronger tones, typical of natural Citrine. You may see 'lines' within the gemstone material where the crystal formation is not continuous (shown in picture). Sizing in this group is very uniform so all are being sold in the same size category. Each bead will be between 7-8mm in both height and width. Faceted briolette or "pear" shape are cut from Labradorite. This group has moderate "flash" in both blue and golden tones. Holes may not be exactly level across the top of the drops, so please account for this in your design. Sizing in this group is very uniform so all are being sold in the same size category. Availability:

This is an unusual combination - we have not seen Lapis Lazuli offered in a briolette cut until we bought these drops. Mostly in the "bright blue" color family due to well mixed calcite inclusions, these drops also have quite a bit of pyrite for extra sparkle. Most of these Lapis briolettes will be pear shaped (height and width measurements are nearly the same)but a small number (mostly in the smaller size groups) are available as teardrop shaped (taller than wide). If you prefer the teardrop shape, tell us in "Comments" when you check out. All drop are drilled side-to-side across the top point. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Availability:

This batch of Rainbow Moonstone Faceted Pears stands out because of it color. The blue "flash" is good in most of the drops - and some even flash gold, as well. These have the typical "milky" appearance of Rainbow Moonstone; a few may have the tiny black inclusions that you typically see in this gemstone. They are hand cut and faceted drops, so expect the typical irregularities, including drill holes that are not quite level across the stone and slightly asymettrical shapes. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Rich, orange Carnelian - cut in a pear shape - the beads will all be about as tall as they are wide. Color is very uniform, and all will be slightly "milky" but are not opaque. A few may have tiny brown inclusions or slight color bands (typical of Carnelian Agate). Sizes range from 6.5x6.5mm to 9x9mm. Remaining drops have been discounted for condition: any or all of the following may occur: holes are slightly chipped near drilled holes, very slight chips or nicks on faceted edge of pendant or the upper tip, inclusions or cloudiness, asymettrical shapes, 'lines' within the drop where the crystal direction or color changes.

Sunstone is a naturally occurring gemstone found in India, among other places. Don't confuse this with man-made Goldstone! It's unique feature is a deep golden-orange sparkle that comes from the depths of the stone. Most drops are pear shaped (height and width measurements are nearly the same). Typical of natural Sunstone, these drops have occasional tiny black inclusions and/or internal fracture 'lines'. These are hand cut and faceted drops, so expect the typical irregularities, including drill holes that are not quite level across the stone and slightly asymettrical shapes. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Remaining drops have been discounted for condition: any or all of the following may occur: holes are slightly chipped near drilled holes, very slight chips or nicks on faceted edge of pendant or the upper tip, inclusions or cloudiness, asymettrical shapes, 'lines' within the drop where the crystal direction or color changes (may be rough at surface of pendant), black/brown inclusions.
