In general, the mini-chips are about 4-6mm wide and 1-3mm thick, exceptions are noted within the individual product entries.

To maintain our wide selection of gemstone chip beads, we must use many different sources - and the strand lengths and stringing methods vary widely between vendors. Mini-chips are usually strung on shorter strands, they vary from 15" to 16" (abbreviated: 15-16" Strand), depending on the supplier. Occasionally, the mini-chips will also be available in the longer continuous loop strands and that information will be clearly marked in the product entry.

We sometimes have chip beads available that are made from materials other than gemstone, such as organic material like Mother of Pearl or Coral.
