A "Russian Cut" bead, is sometimes also called a faceted rectangle or a "princess cut" bead. The fabricator starts with a rectangle bead (slightly thinner in depth than the width) and facets all eight corners of the bead. This results in a very sparkly cut at a fairly reasonable price (since the faceting is not as labor intensive as round or oval facetting).
