Garnet has been shaped into teardrop shapes, then is faceted on both sides of the bead along the teardrop edge. This is nicely colored garnet with good clarity. Beads are sized at about 5.5mm to 6.5mm on the drilled dimension and are about 5mm wide. Sold on 14 inch long strands.
