Real diamond gemstone in this stunning silver grey color is affordable enough to be made into beads! These diamond chips have been selected for their somewhat rondelle shape and are on strands where the beads have been arranged in size graduated order. Our current stock of beads is larger than we usually have access to. The beads in the center of the strand measure about 4mm to 4.3mm, then gradually taper to beads of about 2.5mm at each end of the strand. Diamond beads are tumble polished, then are drilled using a laser, for smooth and uniform holes. They are pre-strung on stranded wire (looks like Tigertail), so there really is no need to restring them. Strands are 16.5 inches long.

These diamond chips have been selected for their somewhat rondelle shape and are on strands that are about 16.5 inches long. The diamonds are essentially just as they come from the mine (in South Africa) - they just are tumbled a bit to polish them. They are drilled using a laser, for smooth and uniform holes. They also are pre-strung on stranded wire (looks like Tigertail), so there really is no need to restring them. Current stock of diamond chip beads measure about 2.5mm to 3.8mm.

These dark Blue Sapphire bead strands have terrific sparkle. The beads are nicely faceted and are very uniform in size and shape for hand cut stones. Beads are arranged in a slightly size graduated manner. Beads in the center of the strand are about 3.5mm in diameter, slowly tapering to beads that are about 3mm on each end of the strand. Strung on stranded metal wire with a blue nylon coating - with about 3 inches of extra wire on each end - so there is no need to re-string them unless you want to. Strands are 16 inch long.

Put some pizazz into your designs with fabulous Sapphire. Each strand of these sapphires has five sections of the very dark blue beads interspersed with sections of medium blue and white beads. All of the beads are Sapphire gemstone, no matter the color tone. These beads are nicely faceted and the beads are very uniform in size and shape for hand cut stones. In our current stock the beads in the center of the strands are about 3.4mm in diameter and slightly taper in size to about 3.1mm on the ends of the strands. Strung on 15.5 to 16 inch strands.

When the gemstone is transparent, Ruby is one of the most expensive precious gemstones on the market. When it is opaque, the price comes into the realm of affordability. The beautiful color tone of these faceted rondelles is the rich reddish color that makes such a statement! In our current stock, diameters range from about 4mm to 4.6mm and are uniform in size throughout the strand. They are also very uniform shaped and faceted. Strand length is about 15-15.5 inches.

These faceted Ruby rondelles are a rich uniform color and beads are uniformly shaped and drilled. This group of Ruby beads are strung on strands that are slightly graduated in size. Diameters in the center of the strand range from 4.5 to 4.8mm then slight taper on the ends to about 3.3mm. Strand length is about 16 inches.

This is real Ruby! It's not widely known, though, that the opaque form of Ruby is far more affordable than the transparent type (the kind usually used in calibrated sizes for rings). Beautiful Ruby Faceted Teardrops will make an unusual centerpiece for a dainty necklace or as drops for earrings! Holes in beads of this kind can be very small - when we received them, they were strung on wire measuring 0.3mm in diameter. Openings of the drilled holes may be slightly enlarged or "notched" looking. Sold individually and priced by the carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Stunning pear-shaped Ruby Briolette drops - in a larger size than usual! While the ruby material is fairly opaque, you'll see areas in the drops with a bit more clarity, giving good depth. Sizing in this group doesn't vary much, so all are being sold in the same size category. Drops will be between 8mm to 10mm in both height and width. Weight of each drop is between 3.5 to 4.5 carats. Hole will accommodate 0.3mm stringing material; hole openings may have a somewhat notched appearance. Sold individually.

This opaque form of real Ruby is affordable enough that it can be cut into beads. In this case we have Ruby Faceted Pear shaped briolettes that can be used as drops on an elegant necklace or drops for earrings. This batch has not been dyed - but may have been heat-treated to enhance the natural color. Holes may appear notched at the drilled opening. Holes in beads of this kind can be very small - when we received them, they were strung on wire measuring 0.3mm in diameter. Sold individually and priced by the carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.
