Availability:

These Tourmaline Faceted Rondelles are very similar to our most expensive tourmaline in color and size. The price is more reasonable, though, because these were cut with standard faceting techniques. You get two sections of the very desirable blue tone beads on each of these strands. The rest of the strand consist of sections that are more traditional Tourmaline colors: greens, lighter pinks, olive greens and short sections of pale and black beads at the very ends. The beads are 3.1-3.3mm in diameter on 14.5-15 inch strands.

Availability:

These faceted rondelles are formed from Apatite - but in an unusual bright blue color tone. Don't worry - these are natural, untreated beads - they were just selected for their unique color. Beads are between 3.3 and 3.7mm in diamater and will be relatively uniform in size on each strand. Latest stock is strung on strands of about 15 inches.

Availability:

This batch of faceted Iolite has a mixed blue & grey base color (note: picture taking method unavoidably over emphasizes the blue tones). They hand cut and hand faceted beads, so there will be some variation in size and shape on each strand, a few beads may not be drilled through the center. Beads range from 4.2-5.2mm in diameter - but will be very uniform in size on each individual strand. Strands are 14.5 to 15" long.

Availability:

This Iolite is a lovely shade of "Montana" Blue - with good transparency and uniform color. These are fully faceted, flat teardrops. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Availability:

This is an unusual combination - we have not seen Lapis Lazuli offered in a briolette cut until we bought these drops. Mostly in the "bright blue" color family due to well mixed calcite inclusions, these drops also have quite a bit of pyrite for extra sparkle. Most of these Lapis briolettes will be pear shaped (height and width measurements are nearly the same)but a small number (mostly in the smaller size groups) are available as teardrop shaped (taller than wide). If you prefer the teardrop shape, tell us in "Comments" when you check out. All drop are drilled side-to-side across the top point. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

This is a great looking group of fully faceted Labradorite Marquise shaped beads. Not only is the "blue flash" very good to excellent, some of the beads also have a bit of "golden flash" as well. Some of the beads may have internal 'lines' due to the crystal structure (shown in the picture); other beads may be very slightly asymettrical or the hole may not be drilled exactly level across the top. Sold by carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.

Remaining drops have been discounted for condition: any or all of the following may occur: very slight chips or nicks on faceted edge of pendant (usually near a drilled hole), 'lines' within the drop where the crystal direction changes (may affect surface of pendant), not a well formed marquise shape. These "pillow cut" rectangle beads are the perfect compliment to our teardrop pendants! Try several in a bracelet design, for example. These beads are made from reassembled Azurite Malachite and all edges are smoothly rounded. A pin is shown through the center bead to demonstrate the hole location for this bead. Availability:

Onyx is a form a Chalcedony - and it can be almost any color in nature, including blue! The Blue Onyx we carry is very uniformly blue and rarely shows any inclusions. The darker the blue tone, the more likely that it has been enhanced by dyeing or heat-treating.
