Arizona Dreams

| I
created this necklace with items I purchased while on a trip to Arizona
last year. The focal piece is a Fancy Jasper Donut about 50mm across.
The donut is "captured" in a peyote bezel surround using size 11 seed
beads in opaque turquoise, and silver-lined clear turquoise, and size
15 seed beads in bronze. The necklace is reversible with one side
featuring the opaque beads and the other, the silver-lined. Accenting
the focal is a fringe of the seed beads accented with real turquoise
chips. These chips also embellish the perimeter of the focal. The
necklace uses the two types of seed beads in a double spiral punctuated
with the turquoise chips. It is finished with a peyote loop and toggle
closure. Necklace is about 20" |
