Instructions
- Cut beading wire to desired
necklace length.
- Attached one side of beading
wire to one side of the hook and eye clasp.
- Then string beads in this
order: (10) bronze pearls, (1) 2mm SS bead, 1 lapis, (1) 2mm SS bead,
(5) pearls, (1) 2mm SS bead, (1) lapis, (1) 2mm SS bead, (5) pearls,
(1) 2mm SS bead, (1) lapis.
- Cut and crimp wire to jump ring
closing onto one side of “L” link – add
crimp cover. This is just a portion of the side of your necklace.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to make a
similar side.
- Create a wire wrap with the
largest of your lapis beads adding a pearl on each side using a simple
loop. With your fingers push loops up to form a “c”
shape.
- Attach lapis to jump rings
attaching the 2 side of your necklace together.
- Last but not least –
attach a dangle made of one of the pearls to the clasp.
Tips
- By pushing the loops up on the
pendant I made it have the piece more of a curve effect.
- Using the bronze pearls helped
to bring out the “gold” flecks of the lapis lazuli.
