"Berry Cascade" freshwater pearl earrings

Simple graduated color pearl earrings by Morgan Newberg of Leopard Stripes.

Materials:

18 Freshwater Pearls in various pinks & purples in different sizes and shapes
18 Sterling Silver Headpins (I used 1" 24ga)
~4" Sterling Silver Chain
2 Sterling Silver Earwires
2 Jump Rings

Tools:

Ergonomic Plier Set

Instructions:

Starting at the bottom of the chain, hang your darkest pearl on a headpin and attach it to the last link.
Count up three links and attach your second darkest pearl. Continue in this manner until you've used up one of each color of your pearls.
Go up one link from the top pearl and attach jump ring to the chain and earwire. Cut off excess chain.
Repeat for the other side.
You're done!
