End caps like these have lots of uses. They can be used like a cone to collect the ends of multi-strand jewelry. Lots of people who do Kumihimo braiding or Viking knitting use this type of cap to finish the ends of their creations. The caps have a distinctive ridged design around both edges of the cap. This considered a 6mm cap, but the usable inside measurement within the cap is actually about 5.7mm. The overall size of the finding is 8.5 x 8.5mm. The hole opening in the cap is about 1.5mm - it allows enough room to form & insert your own connection point (typically cord or a wrapped wire loop). On the left side of the picture you can see the cap from the outside end and from the inside. The end cap is made from brass with a durable and smooth antique silver plating. Sold individually.
