Multi-colored Toumaline has been cut into small smooth oval shaped beads. Most beads are about 5 to 6mm long, but the range you will see is 4.5 to 9mm (note the two very long ovals on the right side of the picture). Widths are very consistent at 4 to 4.5mm. Beads are fairly thin, so you will see a few that are broken at the drilled hole. Clarity is average to a bit cloudy. Beads are strung in sections of pinks and green in the center 11 to 12 inches of the strand, with the outer beads being pale or black. Beads come on 13.5 to 14.5 inch strands.
