This opaque form of real Sapphire is affordable enough that it can be cut into beads. In this case we have Deep Blue Sapphire Faceted Teardrop shaped briolettes that can be used as drops on an elegant necklace or drops for earrings. This Sapphire has been heat treated to intensify the dark blue color but the gemstone is not dyed. We have a several sizes, perfect for selecting several for a graduated size focal grouping. Holes may appear notched at the drilled opening. Holes in beads of this kind can be very small - when we received them, they were strung on wire measuring 0.3mm in diameter. Sold individually and priced by the carat, sizes are given for reference; size ranges overlap because some drops are thinner/thicker than others.
