This miniature set of beading tools is great for traveling beaders, whether you are going to the tropics or just across town. The set includes a wire cutter (side cut style), a chain nose plier (similar to a needle nose plier with a cutter at the base), and a round nose plier. Each plier has a different colored handle for easy identification. The minature bead board is big enough to design a bracelet, a short necklace or the center of a longer necklace design (16 inches of design space) and is flocked to keep beads from rolling. You also get a thread snipper and a knotting tweezer. All pliers have double-leaf springs that gently open the pliers as you open your hand. Beads shown in picture are not included. Set packaged by Beadsmith, each plier measures about 4.5 to 5 inches in length. Everthing fits in the small plastic case provided. Overall size is 7 x 4.25 x 1 inches (17.5 x 11 x 2.5 cm).
This set is convenient, inexpensive and small. Consider keeping an extra one at work or in your auto glove compartment for quick jewelry repairs!
Tacky bead mats are a product you'll want to add to your beading kit! Great for keeping track of small items such as crimps or other small beads that roll away while you are trying to work with them.
Twisted needles are easy to thread and will easily pass through the holes of most smaller beads and pearls. They are very flexible and work even after they get bent.
