Real diamond gemstone in this stunning silver grey color is affordable enough to be made into beads! These diamond chips have been selected for their somewhat rondelle shape and are on strands where the beads have been arranged in size graduated order. Our current stock of beads is larger than we usually have access to. The beads in the center of the strand measure about 4mm to 4.3mm, then gradually taper to beads of about 2.5mm at each end of the strand. Diamond beads are tumble polished, then are drilled using a laser, for smooth and uniform holes. They are pre-strung on stranded wire (looks like Tigertail), so there really is no need to restring them. Strands are 16.5 inches long.

Real diamond gemstone looks terrific in these chip beads with pale brown to beige coloration! These are sometimes also referred to as a Champagne color. Lapis Lazuli 13 piece gemstone mini-fan set. These have become extremely hard to get - stock is limited and we cannot get more. Stock has medium blue color tones with well mixed white & tan inclusions, occasional Pyrite. Some are lighter tones than picture shows.

Availability:

Bright orange color and fairly good clarity makes these faceted oval beads a nice choice. It is hard to see in the picture, but many beads have light to dark shading giving the strands a bit of a multi-tone look. Bead lengths vary from about 6-9mm but widths are rather uniform at about 5 to 6mm. Better than usual hand cut manufacture and faceting. Strung on 14 to 14.5 inch long strand.

It is rare when we find Kyanite beads of this top notch quality! Kyanite has a tendency to fracture along the long axis when it is fabricated. These may exhibit very small fractures, but these beads are about as good as it gets with Kyanite. They are an excellent shimmering blue color too. Beads are teardrop shaped, drilled across the top point and measure about 28mm tall and 14mm wide. Hole openings may be slightly enlarged. Sold individually.

Coin shaped beads are cut from nice quality Labradorite with well defined blue "flash". Notice from the picture that most beads are well formed but you will occasionally see a bead that is broken at the hole (upper left of picture) or drilled off-center. Coins are flat on each side and are fairly small at 4mm to 5mm in diameter. They come on 14" strands.

Availability:

Rhodochrosite used for beads is formed in caves and primarily comes from Argentina. The gemstone is then sent to China to be fabricated into beads. Our current stock has lots of pink tones with moderate white to cream colored banding. You'll also see some tiny flecks of black or grey inclusions in some beads. A few beads may have very slight flat spots. Diameters can range from 4mm to 4.6mm but most beads are about 4.4mm.

Due to the high price of this gemstone, we sell Rhodochrosite by the bead. 44 beads will string a length of approximately 8 inches.

Handmade smooth oval beads are formed from good color labradorite with a great level of blue & yellow "flash". Beads are better made than we usually see: relatively uniform in shape, size and drilling. Beads can range from 6-9mm long (most tend to be about 8mm) and are 5-6mm wide. Strands are about 14 to 14.5 inches in length.

These beads are not faceted, but you hardly miss it as the color is a rather transparent and sparkling white with nice blue 'flash'. Heishe beads are tubular shapes with a flat cut edge - each bead is typically cut shorter than the diameter of the tube. Bead sizes range 4mm to 5.2mm diameter, but each individual strand has very uniform sizing. Strung on 14 to 14.5 inch strands.

Availability:

Tourmaline strung in colored coordinated sections with lots of pink and green beads make up about 12 inches of these strands. Clarity is good and the beads are well formed and drilled. Bead diameters are close to 3mm in diameter throughout. The outer ends of the strands have black or other dark colored beads for a total strand length of 14 to 14.5 inches.

When the gemstone is transparent, Ruby is one of the most expensive precious gemstones on the market. When it is opaque, the price comes into the realm of affordability. The beautiful color tone of these faceted rondelles is the rich reddish color that makes such a statement! In our current stock, diameters range from about 4mm to 4.6mm and are uniform in size throughout the strand. They are also very uniform shaped and faceted. Strand length is about 15-15.5 inches.

Availability:

These faceted Ruby rondelles are a rich uniform color and beads are uniformly shaped and drilled. This group of Ruby beads are strung on strands that are slightly graduated in size. Diameters in the center of the strand range from 4.5 to 4.8mm then slight taper on the ends to about 3.3mm. Strand length is about 16 inches.

Availability:

This is natural Lapis Lazuli — but the large amount of white and grey inclusions (mostly calcite) give it the color tone of your denim jeans that have been washed until they are comfortable. Some strands have a bit of pyrite inclusions, too, for sparkle.
