The copper finish beads on this page are cast or stamped from brass and then receive a durable Antique Copper colored finish. You'll find that the price per piece on these items is usually much lower than a similar item made from solid copper.
Plated beads are sold by weight (ounces or grams). Manufacturing tolerances for interior thickness are not tightly controlled on these beads, so the number of beads listed is only an approximation and can vary +/- 15% (especially in the larger sizes).
