Spice up your designs with a sprinkle of fabulous Sapphire faceted teardrops. While most people think "blue" when they hear about Sapphires, this precious gemstone comes in a range of color tones. Each strand of these sapphire drops has rainbow of blue, yellow to orange, and pink to red and pale blue to white tones. Bead sizes vary between 6x4mm to 4.5x2.5mm (the blue ones in the center are the largest). Strung on 8.5 inch strands. Each strand weighs between 42 and 45 carats - which is about 120 to 130 teardrops.

If you are looking for the unusual as a centerpiece for your design, these Druse Rectangular shaped beads might be just the thing! Druse (sometimes also spelled 'drusy', pronounced like "drew-zee") is basically the surface crystals that grow inside of a geode. The front surface (and occasionally the sides) of each of these beads is studded with sparkling crystals. Druse can form in many gemstones, this one happens to be a multi-colored agate. The bead in the lower right of the large picture shows how irregular some of these crystal formations can be. In fact, the faces of these beads is so irregular that you can occasionally see a tiny bit of the drilled hole open to the front of the bead. Bead sides and backs are smoothly polished but sometimes have crystals too. Beads vary in size from about 13x11mm to 20x15mm. Crystal color is usually white/clear, but can also be pink, purple, brown or tan. Sold individually.

Not only do these focal beads have great bronze to gold sparkly color, they are cut with an unusual faceting pattern. Each large face of the bead has broad flat facets cut in a curved pattern. The beads are then highly polished, softening the faceted edges - what we term semi-faceted. The transitions are so smooth, in fact, that they are hard to see in the picture. Bronzite is found in association with Hematite, so many of the beads have some Hematite inclusions within. The bead shape is a rectangular tab drilled on the long dimension of the bead, as shown by the pin in the picture. Size is approximately 30x22mm. Sold individually.

Sardonyx is an elegantly colored agate that is primarily black with lines and swirls of white and a hint of brown or clear agate. These focal beads are shaped in a teardrop with a spiral cut face on each side of the drop. We've tried to show some of the range of possible patterns & colors in the picture - be aware that there is a lot of variation between drops. Drops are 17-18mm high and 12mm wide. Sold individually.

Real diamond gemstone in this stunning silver grey color is affordable enough to be made into beads! These diamond chips have been selected for their somewhat rondelle shape and are on strands where the beads have been arranged in size graduated order. Beads in the center of the strand measure about 3.3mm, then gradually taper to beads of about 2mm at each end of the strand. Diamond beads are tumble polished, then are drilled using a laser, for smooth and uniform holes. They are pre-strung on stranded wire (looks like Tigertail), so there really is no need to restring them. Strands are almost 17 inches long.

A Pearl Enhancer finding allows you to temporarily attach a pendant to a strand of beads, such as a knotted pearl necklace. It is hinged and has a small snap closure. It will not damage your beads - and it allows interchanging pendants at will. Some people also call this finding a "pearl bail". Every once in a while, we get a chance to pick up some donuts in this wonderful gemstone. They tend to be on the expensive side - but the pink color and the intricate banding makes it worth it! This group of round donuts are all very close to 27mm in diameter. This Rhodochrosite material will have some of the pale creamy white, grey or tan banding or small black sections typical of this gemstone. This new picture shows some of the range of color to expect. Put some pizazz into your designs with fabulous Sapphire. Each strand of these sapphires has five sections of the very dark blue beads interspersed with sections of medium blue and white beads. All of the beads are Sapphire gemstone, no matter the color tone. These beads are nicely faceted and the beads are very uniform in size and shape for hand cut stones. In our current stock the beads in the center of the strands are about 3.4mm in diameter and slightly taper in size to about 3.1mm on the ends of the strands. Strung on 15.5 to 16 inch strands.

These tiny Peacock rice pearls have nice highlights in tones in a range of colors - blues and purples are predominant. Pearl diameters (undrilled dimension) are very uniform at 2mm; pearls range 2-2.8mm on the drilled length. You'll typically find about 140 pearls on these strands. Temporarily strung on two threads that measure 0.10mm each.
